Ceremonies

 

Cacao ceremony for mother-baby blessing

I offer guidance to create a sacred womyn space to honor and bless the new mother and her baby in her womb in preparation for their birth journey. The mother’s closest womyn family and friends are invited to celebrate and initiate a collective support system in her “cuarentena” a postpartum transition time where she will need the love, embracement, and support as she gathers her strength, rhythm, and self-awareness to care for a new baby and adjust to her new path. A cacao ceremony is guided to transform this sacred organic seed from a Maya community cooperative into a ritual energy drink full of blessings to drink during her birth process and postpartum period. I am open to modify this ceremony for any other ceremony or ritual of the mother’s culture or choosing.

Postpartum Somatic Sealing (Cierre de cuerpo)

My interpretation of a beautiful Mexican traditional ritual of 3 hours that includes birth story sealing, a full body massage by 4 hands and pelvic bone body work, or cupping (optional), energyharmonization, steam or water bath with herbs, and sealing with a .During the last 9 years, I learned various forms of this tradition from several traditional healers while sharing and learning in Mexico. I incorporate my own wisdom with the teachings of (wise grandmothers) that have shared with me, offering you a unique cultural experience. For births via cesarean, I recommend this ceremony after two months of the birth.

 

This is a great gift, and well deserved, that a new mother will enjoy after an arduous work of gestating and giving birth to her baby!

Postpartum Blessing

​

This blessing of the mother is an interpretation of the postpartum somatic sealing ritual, but guided so that your most intimate womxn friends can participate in sharing and offering you a gift of love, energy, and blessings in your new path as a mother.

Baby Presentation

​

Based on my Mexica and Moon Danza path, I offer guidance with a ceremony to give gratitude and welcome a new baby to the family and community. The new parent’s closest family and friends are called upon to create a sacred circle to offer them a word of guidance and celebrate with them the arrival of their baby.

 

Fee service: A conscious remuneration is asked for this ceremony guidance.

Ancestral and cultural medicine

 

Somatic body work

​

For pregnant mothers; to gently guide a favorable fetal position, for common body aches in pregnancy. I use a combination of traditional somatic healing that I learned from Mexican medicine women, shiatsu, and general therapeutic massage.

 

Fee Service: $75 for one hour.

 

Spiritual and energy work

​

To accompany the cultural needs of a mother and baby such as , cleansing, protection, and healing. Specific baby needs such as susto, caída de mollera, mal de ojo…etc.

 

Fee Service: $50 suggested remuneration.
